Ruben J. Martinez founded Martinez & Associates after nearly a decade at a large Houston law firm, where he saw firsthand how confusing and impersonal estate planning could feel for families navigating it for the first time. He set out to build something different: a boutique practice where every client receives personal attention, plain-English explanations, and a plan that truly reflects their wishes.

With over 20 years of practice and more than 1,200 estate plans completed, Ruben brings deep expertise to every engagement. He is licensed in both Texas and California — a critical advantage for clients who own property, have family members, or do business in both states.
